not for me
Despite their high price and hype I have had FTF issues with these in multiple pistols even when using FMJ ammo. Only mags I found I can trust to be reliable in all my 1911's aren't these. Bought into the hype and was very disappointed. Colt 8 round factory mags are better performers in my 1911's.allthough not as easy to insert on closed slide or rack the slide to load. But they feed all the bullets without fail. I can't say that about my experience with these. Having tried most of the brands out there only ones I feel good about are Wilsons and if I want flush fit, Colts. However these Tripp are much better than CMCs when you're paying for a "improved"1911 magazine.. Just my 2 cents

Well made, no hold open
The magazines are very well made and work reliably except, they will not hold open the slide on my springfield Armory TRP operator. They try to catch the slide but fail.
