These are nice
I've used these as a drop-in replacement on Colt and Para Ordnance pistols. The change in trigger pull is amazing. Worth it!

THIS IS AN AWESOME, DROP IN, TRIGGER UPGRADE FOR YOUR 1911
FIRST: This is absolutely a drop in parts kit. No stoning, filing, or smoothing of any sort was necessary to install the pieces in my Tisas Bobtail 1911 .45ACP.
REPORT: The kit improved the trigger pull immensely. (I knew it would, I had installed others before in other 1911s.) I do not own a trigger gage, so will simply say my pistol's trigger pull changed from having to "mash" the trigger to get a hammer fall, each time jostling my sight picture, to being able to crisply release the hammer while maintaining a steady sight picture. I will not hesitate to install another of these kits in the next stock 1911 I pick up.
P.S. Do yourself a favor and order a hammer strut and hammer strut pin along with this kit.

great product
easy to fit in the Colt. No creep in trigger pull whatsoever.
Worked great
Worked Great. Dropped this kit right in. No adjusting. My trigger went from 5 lb to 4 lbs. I Will work on it more to get 3.5 lbs.
Excellent Set, However...
This set is the 1:1 set used in the USMC's MEUSOC pistols. It's pleasing to the eye and set to great tolerance. However, something the website does NOT tell you is about the warning in the package. This is meant to be precision-fitted and stoned to finish. There is no relief angle and the hammer has slightly longer hooks than normal drop-in kits. What does this mean? That means your sear nose engagement is going to be more pronounced, meaning that while you have a good, crisp break, it will be heavy; about 5 lbs. heavy. While the warning advised that this set is NOT drop-in, I used it as such anyway. I noticed the trigger was as heavy as my stock trigger, but for a gun that isn't meant for match use, this was not a huge concern. This trigger set is precision machined and is well worth the price, however don't expect 3lb. match quality unless you take the time to stone the sear yourself.
Best value trigger
I was going to purchase this as the 5 pcs but turns out its cheaper to buy the 3 pcs and the sear spring separately along with the ed brown mainspring kit ( plus you get 5 main spring instead of 1). Anyhow, onto the trigger kit itself. This dropped into both my sig 1911 tacops and norinco 1911. On the sig, this actually does not required me to re-fit the thumb safety and it function properly. On the norinco however, it did required me to fit a new thumb safety and it had too much play. Ymmv because every frame is different on a 1911. The sig did not produce as big of an improvement mainly due to the series 80 safety system in place and only eliminated the creep that was in the factory trigger, i guess either sig uses a very good trigger from the factory or that the sig's trigger its at its limit due to the 80 series safety lever and plunger. However on the norinco, this kit vastly improved the trigger system because the norinco trigger was at best " dragging your finger across sandpaper" feel to it. This kit removed all creeps, grits and a bit of pre-travel from the original trigger. In the norinco, i would say its 90% of the trigger feel of the Sig.
Worked Perfectly
It wasn't really needed but I stoned and polished a few surfaces to my liking. Dropped this in a Sig 1911 to get rid of the ugly hammer and cheap sear. worked great. Absolutely no fitting needed. Even the thumb safety went back in with no fitting. passed all of the safety checks first try. I was very happy with the ease of install, quality of the parts and trigger pull.
Excellent Drop in Trigger
I bought this trigger set to create a faithful replica of the current variations of the MEU SOC 45. I have used various kits in the past on both personal pistols, clients' pistols, and friends' pistols and this kit by far has yielded the best creep-free pull right out of the box. There is one caveat: the hammer strut pin hole is undersized. I used a round hobby file and lightly opened up the hole and banged the pin through. Excellent parts, excellent pull all on an excellent pistol.
I like it
The hammer and strut took some wiggling to get the pin in, but when it did it fit nicely. Seems to have cut the trigger weight in half.
