18-SLOT LOWPRO LADDER RAIL COVER - PICATINNY RAIL GUARD

18-SLOT LOWPRO LADDER RAIL COVER - PICATINNY RAIL GUARD Reviews & Ratings

Molded rubber covers snap over exposed portions of accessory rails to form a positive gripping surface for a comfortable, non-slip hand hold and improved weapon control. Protects your hands from the exposed rail edges and provides a soft cushion to help prevent damage to the rails during storage or transport. Low-profile, flexible guard snaps neatly into the cross-slots on Picatinny rails.

SPECS: Synthetic rubber polymer, black or O.D. green. 6-7?8" (17.5cm) long x 1” (2.5cm) wide.

Does its job great!
I used this to fill in the extra space on my scope mount after using a red dot. Granted its 2 smaller sections but I recommend this if you have some small sections of rail that need to be smoother. Its definitely rigid & has not failed to stay in place.

Perfect fit to keep rails in shape.
I bought these to cover the unused portions of picatinny rail on my Walther G22. They fit great, provide protection, & look factory. Nicely made & finished. Not some cheap plastic part! I may purchase more for my other guns...

Best Designed Rail Guards
These are the best designed rail guards on the market. They stay in place, don't snag on clothing or brush and end up on the ground or lost like the shorter products. Best of all, they don't add significantly to the diameter of the hand-guards, an extra plus if you have shorter fingers or are wear cold weather gloves. Another great feature is being able to easily trim them to size to accommodate accessories already in place.

The Best Rail Guard on the Market!
These Rail Guards are fantastic. They fit really tight to the rail and clip on nice. They will not fall off, get ripped off, or snagged. You can trim them easy. They are well made and a quality item. You can grip your weapon up front by wraping your hand around like it was a normal forend without the rails diggin into your hands. I have been back three times to purchase more for all my rails. I am replacing GTC covers on my other weapons with these rail guards.

Not Bad
Fit perfectly, and looks great as a two tone on the black and is a camo kinda too boot. only thing i did not like is that these are a harder plastic than others and the jury is still out on whether that is good or bad , a little more slippery than the rubbery ones but they do not stick or drag on your clothing either? Happy hunting....

Good rail cover
I wanted a cover that will hopefully keep my rail float tube the same diameter as a M4 rail with the knight's armament covers on it so it will fit in the same mount. These go on very easily and don't move at all. I have to use something to pry it up with. Once I get it started then I can peel it up, so I know it's not going anywhere. These are also surprising at how smooth they make the rail system, it really does smooth it out like the hard covers but with a much lower profile. My only complaint is the cost, it is after all a piece of rubber, can't you sell it for under $5? Or an assortment that would cover mid-length rails for $20?
