Did not fit
Main spring poorly machined, and shorter than the standard thus would not work

No go with Magnum primers in new 686+
I have a new 686 plus 7 shot. I changed rebound slide from MIM to original metal with included 13lb. spring and that has been great. Tried this and also the Wolff full power Type 1 kit. BOTH ARE UNRELIABLE IN DOUBLE ACTION AND MISFIRES OFTEN WITH MAGNUM PRIMERS. Love the feel of action but my gun must go bang always. Finally went back to stock spring with 13# rebound spring with steel rebound slide and have 100% reliability again. (A little heavy but smooth and no stacking.) Like you I really wanted that lighter DA pull but misfires are a no go. I screwed stock strain screw in fully and also switched to extended Apex firing pin. Did not help. So tried all options. Going to the 13lb recoil slide spring and dumping the MIM rebound slide and polishing steel one with wheel and white Rouge did make nice difference. Buy the Brownells slide tool to make removal and reinstall of rebound slide easy.

don't buy for K-22
Bought a new 617 K-22 masterpiece which had a stiff hammer spring. I put this kit in and it only goes bang about 60-70% of the time. no where near enough force for 22's
