Fresh new main spring
I was shooting my old (@1990) PPC revolver that I've had for over 30 years. We started getting light hits with 38 Special Wad Cutter reloads with CCI#500 (harder) primers than my old Winchester WSP primers. The perfect cure was a Wilson Combat #178 S&W K, L, N Main Spring Kit. I didn't need the trigger return springs, only the Main Spring. Very simple installation and test fired great with the harder primers.

Better than expected
I’ve used this spring kit twice; on a model 29-3 and a model 329. Results are a much smoother and lighter trigger pull in both double and single action. In both cases an 8-lb double action pull weight is what I needed to adjust to in order to have consistent ignition of primers.
