Sketchy QC from "Colt"
Yes, I know, Colt doesn't make their own barrels any more, but they put their CAGE code on there, so they bear final responsibility for the poor quality control. I had to get two of these barrels, since the first one had a cracked barrel extension that was there prior to it being phosphated. I only found it after polishing the feed ramps. On the bright side, Brownells has a solid return policy and they took it back without issue. The second one is in one piece, thankfully, but after running a bore scope through it, the chrome plating isn't as good as I'd expect on a $300 barrel, let alone one being sold as being a Colt product. It's ok, but I don't think it's worth the price, and they're definitely skimping on QC.
