The 12GSF Low-Drag High-Visibility 12 Gauge Shotgun Follower from Phase 5 is a generic upgrade part that will promote reliable, smooth feeding without binding in many 12 gauge shotgun tube magazines and extension tubes. It's precision machined from extra-hard 7075 T6 aluminum bar stock (about 80% stronger than standard 6061 alloy) for a smooth, burr-free surface. The bright red, green or blue anodized finish, white lettering, and open center help you quickly identify visually or tactilely that the magazine is empty.

The Low-Drag High-Visibility Follower will fit most factory 12-gauge shotgun magazine tubes and extension tubes that DO NOT have spring/follower retention dimples. If your tube has dimples, you will need to remove them or replace the magazine tube in order to install the 12GSF. What my 870 should have had

My Remington 870 XCS shot gun had the factory plastic orange mag follower. Never felt that it was a very substantial part. I know many pistol mags use plastic followers in their mags ( Glock for instance) but this is pretty flimsy material Remington uses. The replacement follower is well made, made of aluminum, easy to install, fits well, and the red color is very visible. I definitely recommend to anyone wanting to upgrade a new part or replace an existing, worn follower.

Works well

Fits in my Remington V3. Once I modified my shotgun for 3 gun matches the plastic follower would bind up. I put this follower in and no more issues.

Great item

Just got mine put into a Mossberg Maverick (theres loctite in the mag tube-heat it up and it comes right off). The green follower really stands out. I like that I can feel the follower when the gun is empty. I would definitely recommend this follower to anyone on the fence.

Works great for Berretta A400s
