She's back
I have a mid 70's 10/22 and was worried it would not fit, but to my joy the assembly fit perfectly and my 10/22 is back in business after years of just sitting waiting for some love. I tried to resurrect the old trigger, but the part that broke was inside the trigger housing and could not be removed/replaced. Thank you for the perfect part, and delivery that was 4 days sooner than expected.
Great for the money
Just as described. It is the factory trigger guard, with all the parts inside included. If you need more than a few parts as replacements, it becomes cheaper to buy this than to buy them separately, plus you get the extra parts! For me, it was a great opportunity to figure out how it all works without worrying about whether or not I could get it, and ultimately my 10/22 re-assembled! From what I've heard, these trigger guards used to made of aluminum, but now they're a polymer. It's supposed to be cheaper and stronger, but I think I'd prefer metal. Just FYI, the one in this listing is polymer.

This product is lighter, stronger and much more scratch resistant than the old aluminum ones. The internal tolerances are much better and the resistance to cleaners is superior. Still has the same extremely heavy pull of the old ones and does need a trigger job but overall these are way better than the cast aluminum ones!
Good but Polymer
I guess I just assumed it would be metal, not polymer. Works well and fit perfectly just be aware it's not metal.
Missing Parts
This trigger assembly was missing the hammer strut and spring assembly. Not a big deal, but Im pretty sure it was supposed to have one as per the description. It was an easy remedy, just kinda lame that it was missing parts. Overall it performed as expected.
Plastic
Every time you turn it on its side a pin would drop out. Tolerances are too loose. I had to put a small dab silicone sealant to keep the pins from falling out. Not what I was expecting. I used metal pins and that fixed that issue
Brownells Sent a USED Assembly!
Brownells not only sent a USED assembly, but the bolt release was scraped and scratched - very disappointed!
