my 1911
i bought the older stuff back in the late 90s and used it on my Para lower and Caspian upper, the slide was dark green and the frame was a lighter green. i followed the directions to a letter, they also suggested baking it in oven which i did, the finish is on the semi side which is ok. well about 25 years later most of the finish is still on except the serrations on the front of the slide are a bit worn, that is were i reck the slide, all and all it has held up dam good. there is dura coat which i have not tried but i will stick with aluma hyde. they need to have more flat colors

Excellent finish
I have been using alumahide for years now very durable product. You have to really shake the heck out of it and apply it properly but if done correctly it's an excellent finish.
Good stuff
I've used this paint on many projects, several of them non-firearms related, with satisfaction. It seems to hold up well, looks good, and isn't too hard to apply if you follow the directions. Not always in stock, but I buy it when it is.

amazing stuff, made a vintage JC HIGGINS look like new again, for sure need a respirator, this is not spray paint, read the label, when it mentions ventilation, they are serious. One tiny whiff will take your breath. I am quite impressed with this very fair priced proc=duct.

Turned out great
I painted two of my ARs there both turned great. I would just watching the videos on it on YouTube before using. Caleb on the videos explains how to use it very well. I used parkerizing gray and black. We'll see how they do in the long run end one or two years. But so far great.

Great stuff
Been looking for this for awhile! Wasn't available and now it is for twenty bucks to your door!
Awesome Product
Very easy to order & use. I did use the clean out nozzle before use after reading the reviews. Not sure I needed to but went ahead anyway to be safe. The paint went on real even and came out looking great. It’s still curing so I can’t say how well it holds up yet but so far I would give it a 10/10.
Dark Parkerized Grey
I wanted a dark grey for a GAU-5 clone build and this fit the bill. I have many hours of carry/use with this gun. Travels in the truck not in a case and this finish has held up very well. No chipping or scratching. I let it cure for 14 days and the wait was worth it.
