A Gotta-Have for AR builders

Having built two AR lowers without this set, and marred the receivers with mis-hits while driving in the roll pins, this set of tools is a must-have for AR building. Solves that 'third hand' requirement and will allow installation of pins in a clean, mar-free fashion.

Excellent Quality, Life Savers!!!

I ordered this set of Roll Pin Holders specifically to review for my fellow firearm enthusiasts. What have I been missing out on!? I continually work and tinker on all of my own firearms and I can tell you I wish I would have bought these a long time ago. For anyone who has ever built and AR-15 or had to use roll pins in general, you know what a pain in the butt it can be getting those little guys started. I have used everything from tweazers to needle nose pliers to try and get them going. Not anymore! These roll pin holders are worth their weight in gold! There are five (5) in the set ranging in different sizes, depending on the size roll pins you plan to use. All you have to do is to simply insert the roll pin into the end of the holder, place the roll pin at the hole and lightly tap the end of the holder with a small hammer (I recommend a brass/nylon hammer). This will partially seat your roll pin and you can now fully seat it the rest of the way with a standard or roll pin punch. Easy as pie. For AR-15 Builders or for those that are tired of fooling around with roll pins, this set is a MUST HAVE! I would definately recommend to my friends!!!

If you have ever assembled a lower and had a punch slip or smack your finger. Then you need this set. It is very nice to have. You only need it to start a pin, but it is very very nice. It will keep you from damaging you rifles. These are very durable.

Great Product

This is the perfect tool to get those little roll pins started without slipping and scratching the finish on your receiver. Just finished my first AR build and these were most definitely the right tool for the job. Would highly recommend for AR builds but I'm sure they come in handy for a lot of different firearms as well.

A Necessary tool -

I bought the 5 tool set, initially to work on delicate target rifle sights, and have found that the roll pin holders are definitely a necessity where roll pin installation is concerned. I have yet to break one, but I would also caution that the smaller diameters will bend if whacked too hard. Although they are specifically made for roll pins, I have used them to start solid pins as well. They are particularly useful in tight spaces and sure beat fumbling around trying to hold a pin with pliers or your fingers. Cuts down on aggravation and frustration :-)

Great Quality!

This roll pin holder set was very helpful for a buddy and I building our first Stripped AR15 lower. High quality tools, and built to take a beating (literally)! Although they may not be a complete necessity, they helped with pin alignment, and avoiding scratches to the lower from punch slip ups.
