Nearly a perfect color match
I have been using aluma hide in various colors for a number of years. I always use the oven bake method to cure the product. It is durable, looks great and has never had any kind of failures in my usage. This product blows Cerakote out of the water requiring only basic prep and no special tools.

Aluma Hyde Paint
Good price, got free shipping. Does not seem to be as durable as cerekote, but easy to apply. Long drying time, I did put some parts in the oven for a quick dry.

Great Stuff!
If you follow the directions, including shaking it until you think you've shaken it too much, then shake it some more, then use the green nozzle to clear the tube before switching to the normal nozzle to start painting, its great stuff. Prep is everything! Disassembly, degreasing, surface prep, and masking the areas you don't want painted are all extremely important. I used several light coats within about twenty minutes to paint my slide and trigger FDE, then baked them in my cheap toaster oven at 190 degrees for 3 hours. They turned out great!

Love Alumahyde
Very happy with this paint. I've used it on several rifles and it's extremely durable and does not leave the sticky textures or smells like your average rattle can paint.
Great paint
Color was spot on. Old school sprayer so inversion cleans nozzle was a pleasant surprise and a great plus. I'll buy more for sure.

Great Product
Followed prep procedures on the metal and wiped down with acetone before spraying. After spraying the receiver cover it hung it in a 195* oven for four hours. Let it cool and reassembled the rifle. It looks great, smooth finish and it coated evenly without much effort.

Rossi M33
I have a little Rossi 38special and I wanted to, I guess update it’s looks so I tried Brownells Aluma Hyde gun coating . It was very easy to apply, took longer to prep the weapon than it did to apply and well you can see how it turned out. It really looks really great. Have had a lot of compliments on it. I can honestly say it’s worth the money to try this product.
