I should have bought more...
I use CCI as my standard prier and I was down 10,000 primers still in APS strips so it was time to bite the bullet and buy more. It was expensive by older standards, now I just accept that this is the price for now. So I bought another 9 boxes and already regret not buy 20 boxes. I was looking at my empty brass piles and I concluded that yep, I need more primers. Regarding the actual primer? I probably have shot around 200,000 of them over my lifetime and while they are not soft, they work for me. For my soft hammer hit guns I use Federals with no issues. Now, if only we could get APS strips filled again, and get the price down a bit, life would be good.
