CCI Always Goes Bang
I am not recommending for other reloaders to follow my actions to substitute these primers for another type This is a choice each person must make at their own risk With the shortage of primers, I bought these to load 9mm and 357 Mag. Did a lot of research and with high pressure rounds I have experienced no noticeable difference compared to small pistol standard and magnum primers. I typically load on the low end for target shooting and see no indications of pressure spikes. As long as the firing pin strikes are sufficient, they always go bang. I appreciate Brownell's not scalping on price and allowing the purchase of 2,000 as most sellers only allow 1,000 per order.
Very good.
I bought these to reload 308 and 7mm-08 rounds for my rifles. Good primers that are high quality. Glad they are finally becoming available again.
Great product
These are great primers. Its good to be able to find them again at a decent price.
Good Primers
I typically use 205M's, but I've used #450's before with good success so when these became available I bought some. Beggars can't be choosers in this crazy world! Price was almost 3x what I used to pay, but most things related to shooting sports are that way now. All in all, I'm happy to have been able to get these. Now if powder would just become available again...
Still a quality primer
I like I can use these in small pistol shells if I need to. I got concerned about being notified my order would ship at a later date after I placed it, but I still got it. In the past with other internet orders that could mean weeks or months after I pay up front.
CCI Small Rifle Primers
CCI primers have always been reliable. My go-to primers.
Back in stock for a hot minute
Thanks to Brownells Notify Me block on the order page I was able to order these. These are the industry standard in reloading.
Excellent Primer
I've been using CCI primers for years. Lately, with the primer shortage, I've been forced to use the 400 small rifle primer in my 9mm and 40 S&W loads with both jacketed and cast bullets. There have been no issues doing this and many of my loads are extremely accurate
Final Cost
I appreciate Brownells ability to get CCI primers for the general public. I also appreciate even more that Brownells is selling CCI primers at MSRP and not gouging the "reloaders" as so many other companies are doing. I realize the reason to "limit" the number of items, in this case primers to 2 (2,000) so everyone can get some. But when you add in tax, haz mat and shipping the price of these primers goes from .082 to .106 due to tax, haz mat and shipping. If you could expand the limit to 4 boxes then the total cost would cut the total of tax, haz mat and shipping in half and the final price per primer under .09. Not complaining but just trying to get a better per price for the reloading public.
My choice for 6mmm Dasher match ammo
