Superb paint from a rattle can
I have now bought 3 cans of Aluma-Hyde paint in different colors. Best rattle can I’ve ever used.

Follow directions for best results
Gives a great coat, will advise if you can’t speed cure it in an oven per instructions, let it sit for at least 3 days to begin handling, or you’ll end up with imperfections. It’s durability of fully cured coating is still unknown.

Excellent product
This product is easy to use with minimal preparation. It sprayed on thin and even; I only needed one coat. I baked the slide and frame for a durable finish. I am very pleased with the product, the color, and the result. This photo is a Taurus PT111 G2 I finished with Aluma0Hyde II Desert Tan.

Easy Tough Finish
I did all the proper prep did 3 light layers and baked. The finish turned out great and seems much tougher than the original.

Amazing!
Really umpressed with this stuff... applied a couple coats to an anodized aluminum handguard after stripping it with acetone and let it sit overnight, then speed cured in the oven. Hard as a rock, and the texture and color matched identically to Magpul FDE. Time will tell how it holds up, but it's much better than standard spray paint for not that much more.

It works great
If you do what is suggested, Aluma-hyde is a fantastic coating for firearms and other items. I have used this several times (ODG, Matte Black) over several years and my results have always been great. I think the addition of a clean out nozzle is a good idea, however, there are times I actually wanted a sputtered spray for adding some texture to the finish. Experimentation is your friend, be careful though, if it fails, it's not the products fault.

Nearly a perfect color match
I have been using aluma hide in various colors for a number of years. I always use the oven bake method to cure the product. It is durable, looks great and has never had any kind of failures in my usage. This product blows Cerakote out of the water requiring only basic prep and no special tools.
