Great value
Just did a trigger upgrade and needed to know what my progress was. The wheeler gauge is consistent, having tested several of my firearms. It's a little larger than I expected, but I'm good.

Works great
The only downside to this pull gage is the "hook" is a little difficult to keep positioned on a curved trigger with a trigger safety. It tends to want to ride up the trigger and off the safety. I take a small zip tie and tie it around the trigger/safety at the point I want the gage hook to rest, i.e., in the place my finger would normally apply the most pressure. This gives me good consistent measurements. Flat triggers are much easier and no need to make any adjustments.

Simple and easy
I'm a proponent of the "Keep it Simple Stupid" methodology. This tool fits that to a tee. If you're doing any trigger work it is essential to have a way to measure your progress. Follow the instructions and this scale will produce repeatable results. Like another reviewer said, no batteries to worry about leaking and ruining your tool. I gave four stars for one specific reason. I wish the scale measured above eight pounds. When I took a baseline measurement of a project I was working on it was off the scale, i.e. above eight pounds. It would be nice to know what my starting point was before beginning any trigger work. That is the only negative point I could find. If you like doing your own work and want a simple and easy to use tool that will be ready to use when you need it, this is it.

Easy to use trigger pull scale
Used it to test the trigger pull on my CVA Accura muzzleloader and my Remington 700 BDL rifle. Surprising that there is a variance of a few ounces with each trigger pull on both guns. Hope that it is just each weapon vs. there being that much variance in the trigger pull gauge itself. Gave it four vs. five stars because at this point, I'm not sure if it is each gun or the trigger gauge.
