Great set of Pachmayr Grips
Bought these for a Colt Officers Model .45 and they fit and feel great. They also add a nice bit to the look of the pistol.

I'll buyanother for sure!!
I bought my first 1911-A1 as a college student. I couldn't afford to get one with a checkered front strap. This grip gives you amazing purchase on the weapon! I would definitely recommend this grip!!

Great grips
I have always loved Pachmyr and have installed them on all my duty weapons. That said, I guess I am biased in favor of this product.

Hard to install but look great
These grips are nicely made, however; I had to stretch them quite a bit to fit my 1911. Seems the front strap is a bit short. Using a hair blow drier i managed to soften them enough to stretch them around my frame. Unless you have somekind of oil/lotion your hands (then nothing will help) they will NOT slip on these grips even when wet. Very stable and comfortable to hold and shoot. Look great also.

Just be aware on the
Have a brand new SA Loaded model parkerized . Bought the PM grips and used it during the hot summer . My sweat must have gotten behind the front strap of the pistol. Rusted the front strap under the grips faster than bare steel in ocean water ! Good thing I can re- parkerize it myself. Lube the finish of your weapon well before putting these grips on ! Just some friendly advice .

Good Grip
Only downside on the one I bought (a few years ago) was that it was not cut out for a ambi safety. I had to notch it out which took about 20min. other than that fantastic grip.
