They are great primers
Used CCI BR primers for years they work great. Way too much bandwidth spent on this primer vs that primer. If you can find them get them.
Great primer FTR
Use this for 308 FTRPalma brass, Varget and 185 Juggernaut. The BR-4 primer is very consistent for this load and has been my go to primer. However, I just did an identical load test @ 600yds using the CCI 450 magnum primer compared to the BR-4. The velocities and SDs were IDENTICAL! The group vertical dispersion for the 450s was actually slightly smaller than the BR-4 dispersion. Conclusionthe 450s are $40 cheaper than the BR4smay have found a new go to during this shortage. Thanks Sleepy Joe!
Superb in 308
Sub .5MOA in savage FTR at 600yds with Varget and Sierra 155PALMA. Podium finishes at 600 & 800 yds. Same combo in Ultramatch Garand produces first rate accuracy. Scoped FAL has produced startling sub-MOA at 600yds w/these primers, Varget, and Sierra 175MK. Absolutely no issues in my gas guns. Good choice for extended reloading as primers mike .0005 larger in diameter than WLR so primers maintain snug fit.
Great Primers
I use this product in both my own personal (pet) loads as well as custom long range loads in my and a few other customer's 308's. These have not failed me once. They seem to yield consistent results, as do all CCI primers. I have not had 1 fail to fire in any ammo I've loaded.
great primers
i have been using these primers for over 30 years. never had a misfire or a slo fire ever, the primers always seat easily and solidly in the base of the cartridge. never ever had one go off during the seating process as some others have. i usually use ball powder which some say needs a magnum primer to get full ignition, NOT SO, the standard primers work flawlessly, even with slow burning ball powder i have never seen any difference. for my money it just doesn't get any better than these primers for my ammo.
soft and sweet
It,s all good standard and magnum If you want the best cci BR2 has it all.
