The best money can buy
I've never had a misfire with CCI primers. I've been reloading since the seventies, so that's a long time and thousands of rounds. Every time I pull the trigger I don't think about if they will ignite, they go bang every time.
CCI small pistol magnum primers
I've been loading .357 magnum rounds with CCI's primers for over 10 years. My Ruger New Model Black Hawk performs beautifully with these primers with 158 gr. lead semi wad cutters and Titegroup powder.
Dependable
I've been reloading since the mid 1970's, and out of the thousands of rounds I've loaded, I don't remember ever having a miss-fire with CCI primers. When researching loads for different calibers, I look for recipes with CCI primers almost exclusively, because of that. In resent years I have used other brands, but I still favor these, over other brands. Right now, I'm almost out of any kind of primers, and the prices are mind blowing if you can find them. I still look for CCI first and I'd probably pay more for them over another brand if I had a choice.
Glad to Find Some
As all reloaders know, primers are the component hardest to find. We all need primers. CCI is top quality and I was happy to score, I hope the prices go back down and availability improves. In the meantime Ill continue shopping Brownells for more.
Nice
Like to have about 5000 more
Reliable
Never had a misfire with CCI primers and I have loaded and fired thousands in most all pistol calibers. Recently found some ammo stored for over 20 years and they all fired as expected. I always buy CCI first when I can get them.
Finally
I had checked several large on-line sites frequently in case primers ever came back for sale. Brownells was the first to score them then one other place got them in stock. Now you have to check daily since they sell out within hrs of receiving a shipment. I have this winter's reloading covered. Also get to see how the monopoly manufacturer of primers operates. They can charge anything they want, just like the robber barons did long ago. But of course blame the huge profits on the pandemic.
Brownell must have clout to have primers
Counting hazmat, shipping and tax the new normal is about 10cents a primer. But when you haven't cranked out a round in months due to lack of primers, I paid it. Did figure out to buy the quantity limit to save about half a cent per primer on hazmat and shipping. Took eight days from order to delivery.
Old faithful
Use for 9mm, .38 & .357. Never had a problem with CCI primers. Easy to go from package to flipper.
Quality Reliable Primers
I was looking for Large Pistol Primers for over a year and was extremely happy to see them in stock.
