Roughers are .010" smaller in diameter than the final size, do not cut the throat area and should be used to save wear on the Finish Reamer when many chambers are to be cut. If only a few chambers will be cut, a Finish Reamer is all you need. Superb quality reamers made to SAAMI specifications.

SPECS: PISTOL REAMERS - 6, right-hand cutting, straight flutes. Solid pilot. Integral throat. Available in two different pilot diameters: Barrel for Single Shot or Semi-Auto pistol and rifle barrels; Cylinder for Revolver cylinders. 7/16" dia. shank with 3/8 " square drive, depending on caliber, ј" round shank on .22 RF. Unsure about this reamer

I bought this in .45 acp to adjust the headspace in my 1911 project. Stainless barrel made by Tisas. The pilot will not fit this barrel. This is bought for probably a 1 time use but can't use it due to the pilot not fitting. I don't know if its the barrel to tight or the reamer. Looks well made though.
