The best stripper that I have used.

I have used and own most of the re and de-mooner clip tools available. This is the best de-mooner I have used. It is easiest on the clips, easiest on the operator and just does a fine job at a reasonable cost and with little lost effort. Further, it should last three life times as opposed to some I have used that are rather fragile. I can recommend without reservation.

Wish I had one of these sooner.

Easy to use and works like a charm. Also purchased the 10mm stripper for my 627PC clips. Tossed all my other stripper tools.

This is a great tool and is very easy and fast to use.

Works better than the others

Does what it's supposed to do. Works well on the full moon clips with ease. There are other types out there that are more complicated. This one is simple and it stores easily in the range bag or toolbox.

General shooting, self defense and hunting. Simple to use as a shirt pocket.

Very Useful tool

Very useful tool and very good looking, handy and well made BUT, tube is not very well fitted, or tightly fitted to the inside of the handle and in case you need to pry a tight shell on a moonclip- the tube rotates inside the handle!! and you will be needing to hold it on the tube instead of the handle when you are removing a stubborn casing..thats why i just gave it 4 stars..and Pros of Quality construction and then Cons of poor construction..maybe a set screw should solve the problem or a stronger adhesive...if not for this i would have given it 5 stars!

Not for S&W 929

I bought the older shorter version of this stripper years ago for use with my S&W 610. I also have the larger diameter version for my S&W 25 and 625. Both have stripped hundreds of thousands of rounds and work as well as they day I bought them. They are very well made and the handle gives great leverage for stripping out rounds with no damage to the moon clips. I would rate this product 5 stars except for one thing, the diameter is too large for use with the S&W 929 9mm. It may well work with 6 shot 9mm revolvers, but the cases are too close together in the 8 shot S&W 929 for this stripper to work properly. Brownells, please make a smaller diameter version specifically for use with the 929. It would also work well with the 627 in 38 Super and all the 38/357 revolvers too. I will order one as soon as you make them available.

well thought out and very usefull

I bought this about 6 years ago. it will not work for 2 and 3 round clips but works great with 6 rounds. It will hold the brass in the shaft so you can dump them in your range bag. It is easy to use and fast.
