KROIL

KROIL Reviews & Ratings

A lubricating and penetrating oil that flows into the tiniest of crevices, lifts away lead and copper jacket fouling, frees up super-tight barrels, loosens frozen screws and bolts. Dissolves dried grease and oil, displaces water, without harming metal. Works great for getting underneath and loosening built-up carbon, copper and lead fouling in shotgun, rifle and pistol barrels.

SPECS: Kroil Pour Can - 8 fl.oz (237 ml). Aero-Kroil® Aerosol - 13 fl. oz. (385 ml) or 16Ѕ fl. oz. (489ml).

My shop secret
A little expensive for the amount you actually get, but worth every cent you paid. Save it for those stubborn screws, or lodged bullets.

good stuff
I use it to soak out old abused 22`s. I partially fill small pvc pipe and soak receiver and barrel. scrub every few hrs. the crud usually doesn't last very long. Can find a good barrel now n then. Doesn`t seen to evaporate very fast without tight cap.

A great penetrator
My Gunsmithing instructor showed me the virtues of using Kroil vs other penetrating lubricants. I have used Kroil ever since.

kroil and J-B
I run a wet patch with Kroil through the barrel and follow up with the J-B to get shiny like new barrels free of copper fouling. This stuff is great and in combination with the J-B makes cleaning my weapons so much easier.

Been using Kroil for years
Been using this oil for years to clean, lube, protect and loosen old screws! Absolutely fantastic oil. Used it most recently to loosen rusted screws from a 64 S&W model 28. Freed up screws in about 20 minutes! Has a more pleasant smell rather than some oils that have a foul smell.

Best penetrator oil around.
This stuff makes many jobs much easier. When you see it work with your own eyes, you will never live life again without a can of this stuff in your possession.

Best oil for cleaning and preserving.
I have used Kroil in business and personal gun use. Prevents rust and lead fouling in barrels and reloading dies.Cleaning and preserving barrels between shooting times specially when using WWII Russian ammo, rust caused by the old type corrosive primers. No need for hot water cleaning, just push pad with Kroil and done. It's a great product, I am very happy to use. . Use to come in pint tins, last a long time.

Didn't believe it until I tried it. Miracle stuff!

Must have for owners of older guns.
Kroil is an invaluable addition to the tool box of anyone cleaning older guns which may have been neglected over time. Better than previously used "penetrating oils" I had used. Purchased an old Winchester Model 61, .22 rifle manufactured in 1932 which didn't appear to ever have been cleaned. Parts which would not move were loosened in only a few hours after application.

Amazing penetrating oil
I too found out about Kroil while working at power plants. The millwrights use this stuff by the gallon when working on turbines. This oil is the most amazing penetrating oil you will ever use. I have yet to have it fail me when trying to loosen rusted bolts / nuts and even slightly galled stainless bolts/ nuts. I'm buying this for home and hobby use and I really like the small can. A little goes a LONG ways!
