This is the GOOD stuff!

I'm a rural gunsmith in SC, and about a year ago I decided to find out which of the many aerosol gun cleaners was the best for my purposes. (I don't use them to completely clean the guns, but they do come in handy during disassembly to blast off the really funky, sandy trigger groups so they won't crud up my parts washer too badly.) I ordered 12 cans each of every brand carried by Brownell's, and made my U.P.S. man sweat! Bottom line: Birchwood-Casey Gun Scrubber outperformed all the rest. It's the best at cutting the really impacted crud out of tight places, has the strongest spray, hasn't hurt any finishes yet, dries fast, doesn't make the parts super-cold so they sweat, and doesn't stink up the shop if I spray it inside at night. Took awhile to use up all those other brands, but they're gone and I'm on here again to order some Gun Scrubber!

Love this stuff.....

Won't replace all of your cleaning materials but it helps get those places and "stuff" tou miss with routine cleaning.

Beyond the Call

I use this to get the gunk out of where I can't reach, and it is safe for every gun. But what made me write this review is Birchwood Casey's customer support. While holding an assembly in one hand, I tried to take the cap off the can, and broke the nozzle off. I sent BC an email suggesting they redesign the nozzle so if it gets broken, it can be replaced. Without even asking for a replacement, they sent me a new can.

Just blast it off...

I've been using the BC Syn scrubber for two years now, No issues with any finish. great for AR bolts after a long day shooting

Great Product

I'm in the military and a couple of times each year I have to go to the range. When it comes time to turn in my weapon an M-4 the SGT inspecting the weapons can be a real #@!*! This stuff gets me a go on the first inspection every time. It's great stuff

Missleading Information

Careful this is not the "Synthetic Safe" formula. The can I received is labeled "Single Purpose Firearm Cleaner." The label reads "CAUTION: May harm some plastics, painted surfaces, synthetic stocks, camouflage finishes and wood finishes. Please review the attached pictures. I have used the Synthetic Safe formula for years without trouble. By mistake, I use the regular formula on a pistol with plastic grips. It softened the grips to the point they were sticky and had to be replaced. Like the label states "Test an area before using."
