Great Grips
I have these on several guns. They fit my slightly smaller hands like they were custom built. The rubber is great for taking the sting of Mag loads out of my .357s and .44s. The smaller profile make then conceal better for work.

top combat grip
this is a great grip for fast combat shooting-plus it works for women and those with smaller hands-fit is very good and easy to install-pre lube the metal even if it is a blue or stainless gun and remember to wape down the edges once in a while to prevent rust under the grip

Better than stock grips
These grips are far better for the S&W 442 than the stock grips. The fit on the front is not perfect. How well they fit was dependent on the through grip screw tension, but the left half stays a bit ahead of the right half. I don't plan to carve or do the freeze and sand thing. They have changed the feel of this little revolver in my hand 100% better. If you catch them on sale for your square butt J frame, they are worth getting. For a comparison, the Hogue grips we put on my wife's S&W J frame round butt Bodyguard are far better. The only drawback to the Hogue will be removal, if ever removed. The snap in plastic bottom cap on the Hogue grips may be a real challenge to remove damage free.

Good, functional grip
I loaded some hot 180gr loads for my S&W 686. The stock Hogue grips were narrow enough that it hurt my hand. I replaced with these, and all is well. They are wider and distribute the recoil better. 1 point deducted because they aren't the prettiest grips out there, but they work.

Gripper J-frame round butt
I got this grip for my S&W 442 airweight snubbie for a few reasons. First, the .38 spl +P rounds make for a brutal range session with the stock grips (2-finger, open-backstrap) and I wanted recoil dampening. Second, I have long, skinny fingers and needed more meat on my grip. This particular grip provides excellent control AND comfort. It's material also provides a non-"gummy" texture that still holds your hand well. My only complaint was unexpected: it is much bigger than anticipated and hard to conceal.

I would buy this product again and again
This is a nice product.

Bad Fit
Grips fit very poorly with significant gaps between the grip and revolver frame behind the hammer and behind the trigger guard. Grips returned for a refund

Returned
I have this grip on a 649 Bodyguard and it’s great; I really like the feel and recoil control. This one is defective and would not fold around the frame bc in the molding process there is leftover rubber inside that prevents a clean fit around the frame. I tried to cut some out but that wasn’t working and I decided to return it which is the reason for the low rating. Poor quality control.
