Great torque driver

Used it to set the torque on the rings for my Leupold scope. Easy to use and works exactly as the instructions said: turn until it clicks once and then turn again until it clicks two more times and your torque is set. Handle is a good size and makes it easy to turn and the required torque is easy to set and read. Also like the case it comes with and all the bits.

You need this !

After mounting set of 100.00 $ plus scope rings and using the "this feels about right method" I decided to buy this inch pound torque wrench. As you may have guessed I did indeed strip out one of the mounts screws. Bought this and another set of scope rings and no prob. Quality product and easy to use. Also comes with case and extra bits. Buy this product as it will save you grief and money down the road.

Just buy it!

I used to be so proud of the fact that I could use iron sights and didn't need no stinkin' scope. Then age 65 came along and a change to the highpower rules that allowed scopes on service rifles. I would tighten base and ring screws to "that feels about right" and leave it at that. With the Fat Wrench there is no more guessing. It's easy to use, comes in a nice plastic case with several different bits and even a slip of paper that shows the wrench was calibrated at the factory. Now I can go back and re-tighten all my other scopes and not worry about over or under-tightening the screws.

Nice little torque driver. Easy to read numbers for specific torque. Works great and easy to use. Comes in nice case.

Better to not over tighten

Does the job. Luckily I have plenty of tips, as it only comes with a small selection thats the reason for only 4 stars.

Fat Wrench

Had been using screw drivers and other tools when my guns called for a Torgue Wrench. Had been tightening screws by hand and figured it was time to buy the correct tool and to do them by specifications. This tool seemed to fit my requirements. It comes with some of the most utilized sizes! Also note you can buy a professional set of tool heads with any bit you might need also from Wheeler.

Great Little Torque Wrench

I use this wrench for firearm assembly and mounting scopes. Fat Wrench is easy to adjust and the diameter of the handle makes it easy to control. I use it more than I thought I would. Dropped one star because the bit selection is limited. I use my Weaver bit set to supplement this one.

Very Hard to Operate

This torque wrench was extremely hard to operate. You have to pull out the bottom and twist it, which was very difficult. Too tight. Now I'm stuck with a tool that I can't really use.
