Almost a good product
This is a simple and easy way to attach a sling to the A2 buttock so the rifle hangs properly on the body, once you cut all the GD Velcro off. Adding more Velcro to some “tactical” item doesn’t make it better or more effective, just makes it more difficult to use. Once the Velcro is cut off, attach to the buttock, cinch it down tight, and you’re good to go.

Too Short
It was not long enough to properly fit around a normal buttstock. I purchased 1" nylon webbing on Amazon and had my local shoe&luggage repair shop sew in a 6" piece to make it 5" longer. Viking Buttstock Adapter $10, 10yds Nylon Webbing $12, Labor for repair done in 8 minutes $20. I was happy to pay it to get what I wanted.

Not what I expected
I bought this to go on the A2 buttstock on one of my ARs. When I put it on the strap was not long enough for the male velcro to fully engage the female velcro which makes for a weaker attachment.
