Acraglas gel
I use Acraglas for bedding my rifle actions. The product is easy to use , hardens overnight and is very durable. The only thing is clean up can be messy at times.
Great stuff
I used it to fix many cracks in a 1890's shotgun stock for my father. Following the instructions and a lot of preparation, the project came out great. The black die matched the grain of the black walnut perfectly. Did the repair in the early afternoon and by the next morning it was more than ready to be worked. Here is the part that surprised me, it worked just like the wood around it, it did not leave high or low spots when worked with sandpaper, a file or chisel. It worked very well and will be using it again. Clean up is easy when you get it on your hands if you take it off as soon as you are done working with it. And it did not even have a smell.
Great product
Just follow the instructions and you will have no problems. More than adequate working time, sets up well. Way better than 5 min epoxy.
Great product
Have been using Acraglass for 20 plus years, and the gel is even easier to use. Just follow the directions and you can't go wrong. It's a tad pricey, and shipping is ridiculous because it is "hazardous", but the product itself is top notch.
Great product will use again.
Good stuff! Used it to repair the forend wood on a Mossberg 500 that split in half. The repair is strong and with one drop of the supplied black dye it almost looks just like the original wood grain.
awesome product
as long as you know what your doing and follow directions its easy to use and the results are as expected. I used this when I was in gunsmithing school and never had any problems using it. The rifles i used this on years ago are still holding up with no problems.
4 oz Acraglas Gel Kit by BROWNELLS
Works as advertised.
Easy to work with and great results
I have used this and trusted it to bed all my custom rifles I built and also used this to beef up forends, butt stocks with a form built around the stock when I needed a wider width for bull barrels or when they just did not have that design I wanted..Works great, gives you time to work with it, doesn't run all over the place and will give you a smooth as glass bed in your stock..This can also be sanded and shaped just like a composite type material..I have always had great results using it and it shows at the range. Works great as a epoxy too.
