Makes glass bedding easy & trouble-free
Wish I had found this product sooner. The price will put you off, but it is genuinely worth the money. You can't really put a price on making your bedding project a success. Trust me, when you 'bed' your rifle, you want it to come apart again! This product worked so well and was easy to use; I wonder why people bother with anything else. I will never do a glass-bedding job without it again. One of the best products Brownells sells.
Works very well
Had to reinstall a barrel in a flint lock rifle that the barrel was rusted and the stock rotted out almost the full length about 40". Scraped out the wood rot and cleaned up the barrel some of the deeper pits in the barrel I filled with wax. Than sprayed the barrel with Acra- release and put acraglass in the barrel channel. Clamped it together clean up the over spill and waited a day. The barrel came out very easily and clean up of the barrel was just some break parts cleaner , The fit of barrel to stock is perfect. This was not a fine antique fire arm so I felt there was no issue using a modern product in its repair
Worth the Price
This product may be pricey but well worth it - releases from bedding epoxy every time with minimal effort. I've tried other release agents and had problems with them at times but never with this product. Bottomline, spend the money and save yourself time and headaches.
Best product on the market
Works great! I have used this product on a number of Guns and never have had a release problem.
Best releasing Agent I have ever used
Over the years I have had decent luck with other releasing agents but not quite satisfied with any. This is by far the best I have ever used. I just Devcon bedded my target 308 and after 11 hrs I was able to pull it from the stock by hand with very light pressure. Absolutely none of the bedding chipped off or pulled out. Perfect. It may be a little higher but this releasing agent is worth it.
Risk VS reward
I love epoxy. I hate epoxy. What would you pay to have a job go smooth when it doesnt? This stuff is worth every penny.
Works Extremely Well
I used this product to aid in the bedding of a Weatherby DGR in 416wby mag to a factory stock on the second recoil lug. It worked great. I sprayed it on and placed in in the stock and the next day removed the action with no sticking at all. I think it is a great product.
Over the Top {Way Over}
I bought this to replace a different release I had that had degraded. It was a little spendy, but....worth twice the price--literally. The barreled action lifted out effortlessly; no pounding, cussing, splintered stocks etc. If you didn't see the Acra-Glas you wouldn't know you'd glassed the stock at all!! This is an absolutely fantastic product--Brownell's scores again big time!!

WHEN I FIRST TRYED THIS I WAS A LITTLE AFRAID THAT IT MIGHT NOT WORK IT JUST LOOKED TO EASY TO APPLY . I MUST SAY THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST RELEASE AGENT THERE IS FOR ANY BEDDING WORK . THE COATED BARRELED ACTION JUST LIFTED RIGHT OUT WITH NO EFFORT , CLEAN UP WAS A PLEASURE . THIS PRODUCT IS A MUST HAVE IF YOU DO ANY BEDDING WORK
