REALLY HAPPY
PUT THIS ON MY ISRAEL ARMS M-5000 GAL, TOOK JUST A FEW MINS TO DO SOME VERY SMALL FITTING. WORKS LIKE A CHARM AND LOOKS GOOD TOO!

Well worth the effort
THis took considerable fitting on my S&W 1911. Not a hard process but time consuming. I installed it with a Wolf 14# reduced power main spring and the Wilson 2 piece guide rod w shock buffer. I shot the gun side by side with a stock S&W 1911 and could readily feel the difference with ammo ranging from target velocity 200 gr loads to factory ball. Considerably less muzzle flip and felt recoil on all loads. Accuracy may have been slightly improved as well. It's a bit of a pain to clean but well worth it IMHO I'd have given it a 5 if it was true drop in.

.45 Comp
Great addition to my custom .45. Gives it a more tactical look and increases it's "scare factor". It was difficult to install, and it's curves don't quite match up with the slide. Slightly noticeable difference in recoil as well helps with faster follow-up shots. On the full size 1911 it almost makes it awkwardly long as far as carry and look goes so in my opinion would look better on a commander sized or smaller.

Use Caution.
Very nice looking addition to my Springfield Range Officer. Installation is time consuming and it took quite a bit of time and emery cloth to get it to fit the slide. Barrel fit perfectly with no adjustments needed. The caution is, at least with my Range Officer it makes dissassembly much more difficult as the front spring plug cannot be remove or installed with the Multi-Comp installed on the slide. plug must be installed, then the Multi-Comp, then the spring and spring guide held in place by hand and installed on the lower. Tricky to say the least.
