great product
With to height I it is easy to to lineup my eye to the scope and by using the offset to the back I could leave the rear iron sight on.

Great mount to clear a rear sight.
I purchased this scope mount specifically to clear a rear backup sight. Clears it well. Mount is solid and worth every cent. Since then I've purchased many more mounts from American Defense.

Great Mount
I mounted this on a Bushmaster carbine. For glass I used a 1.5-5x20 VXIII. I originally ordered the AD Recon, but it was not high enough for me or my old (.84ish") YHM BUIS. The Recon H took care of my original woes. This mount is built to perfection and stands up to the claim of repeating zero when taken on and off. You can buy with confidence.
