What is the S&K - MOSIN NAGANT MOUNT?
No drilling, tapping or bolt modifications. Aluminum base replaces the rear sight, and accepts a long eye relief, scout or handgun scope. Includes S&K, horizontally split steel rings. SPECS: Mount - Aluminum, anodized, black, matte finish. 1' Rings - Steel, blue, matte finish. M91 fits M91/30 and M91/59. M44 fits M44 Carbine.

Quality Mosin Nagant M44 Scope Mount
Made in the USA. Not a cheap , Chinese made product. Finely machined aluminum base and steel scope rings. Quality scope mount/base/rings assembly. Well written instructions on how to mount onto your rifle. All hardware and smaller pieces fit together perfectly! Quality hardware used. Perfect fit on my 1945, Mosin Nagant M44 rifle. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who owns a Mosin Nagant M44 and is looking to add a scope.

Scout Mount Mosin Nagant
This is a stable, quality product that I have used on two different Mosin's. S&K has a customer warranty and service beyond compare. I accidentally did something stupid in my installation of this product and they replaced the part without issue. If you find this product too difficult to install and adjust, I suggest that you get a qualified person to do it.

Best Mosin mount out there!
Awesome product! Quality construction and straightforward instructions. The Brownells installation video is also very helpful. Took me about 30mins to install. I paired the mount with a Vortex II Scout scope. We'll see how this holds up once I get rounds down range.

Follow up review. Mounted on a 91/30 from PW Arms, dated 1931. Put a scout scope on it, took it to the range today, and it performed flawless.ly. This is a very stout mounting platform. Sturdy. No loose screws although I put blue thread locked on them. I feel good about this mount, would buy another. Thanks again Brownells!

solid so far
Firstly, I'd like to mention that this mount arrived in 3 days! At least a day to 3 faster than some of the 'other guys'. Cleaned it up good. C-clamp. Punch and hammer. Small files. This block would have fit perfectly if it weren't for the rough machining inside the rear sight mount. With a little filing, it fits nice and tight. Blue thread locked all the screws. Mounted a Hi Lux for the .308 on it. I like it alot! The mount is very sturdy. Taking it to the range tomorrow. I'll do another follow up review. Thanks Brownells.
