Great replacement item
My original EoTech works great and is very rugged. However, one day I removed the batteries and all the springs, bushings and connectors fell out. This replacement items is well constructed and the guts appear to be one piece instead of individual parts. There is also some form of adhesive which locks the springs and connectors to the end of the cap. It is a huge improvement

Good replacement
The original battery case on my pre-2009 was full of residue from a battery that leaked, so I decided to replace it rather that try and clean all of the gunk out. I can't tell this apart from the original one and it fits perfectly. However, the new style "t-bone" battery link does not. Read my review of that if interested.

Disappointed
Factory cover says Eotech on it. This one haa nothing so the sight now looks lije a cheap $90 sight. In picture it shows the Eotech logo, misleading.

The new cover doesn't say Eotech on it like the picture shows. Now it looks like a generic $75 sight. Disappointed
