VORTEX OPTICS - Micro 3x Magnifier W/Flip Mount Black

I paired this with a Sig Romeo5 on my AR15. Works great and gives a crisp, clear, picture. Love how it positively snaps in and out of the way. The quick release makes it easy to manage my optic's footprint as well. Pair this with Vortex's fantastic warranty, and you can't go wrong!

I've looked at every magnifier on the market and own a few. This by far, the shortest and lightest 3X on the market as of writing. Second one come close is the American Defense Flik3 which is a little more expensive and is slight heavier, but still lighter than all the other 3X. Every other cheap to expensive 3X is just plain too heavy. I just don't want to add unnecessary weight on my firearm. I'm already tops out over 11lbs on my gun lol, and I've use only light parts. I'm putting this on a Kriss Vector SDP 10mm 6.5" G2 along with Holosun HS510c green dot for CQB. The mount is rock solid and have no movement at all when handling the gun. My eye is not very good so magnification is a must. Glass is very clear and no distortion once you lean your head in the right places. Need more practice on my end. Eye relief is a spot on around 3" or so which helps with target acquisition. It came with a rubber lens cover which is typical Vortex. They seem to include lens cover in most of their products which is a plus. Also came with a riser which I don't need, but good to have. With Vortex warranty, I don't have to worried too much about the durability of this product and it look very solid and I couldn't find any flimsy parts on it either. Overall, I think it's worth every pennies. I won't settle for bad and heavy magnifier from now on. I just hope Vortex continue to reduce the weight and size. Maybe make a full titanium mount for it. I'm will to pay a bit more for even a lighter weight magnifier. American Defense offer a full titanium mount on their 3X. Vortex should do the same. Seriously consider another Vortex 3X for my other gun. Brownells also have the best price when they have a coupon code. Good Job both company!

I have a few 3x magnifiers to include Eotech & Holosun and I can say hands down this little 3x from Vortex is my new favorite definitively. Very small compared to the ladder (about half the size AND half the weight) of most the competition. This also comes included, is the spacer and the extended screws to properly mount the magnifier to the base. For either full co witness or 1/3 co witness red dots. The magnifier can also easily be reversed to compensate to right or left handed shooters. Lock up on the magnifier when up right or to the side to SOLID too. No movement what so ever in either position. For the price imo this can't be beat. You get a much smaller print and lighter weight magnifier than most the competitive options and it's at a great price point. After owning and using other big name magnifiers... I can honestly say this is the best on the market (imo) hands down. Buy with complete confidence, you're getting an awesome product.

Looks and feels well built. Glass quality, field of view and functions are excellent especially the diopter. Sadly for me the eye box is short, I have to be 2.5 inches to get a full picture, which means my face is up close and in there. Flip to side mount is solid.

Not the best magnifier, in my opinion. Clarity is ok but not great, and the eye relief isn't great. The mount is nice but will sometimes move when flipped back and forth. I've had issues with the dot shifting from the center of the magnifier when doing this. The zero doesn't change so it is more of an annoyance than anything else.
