What Is Flow Through Technology And Why Would You Want A Flow Through Suppressor?

Flow-through suppressors are designed to redirect expanding propellant gases forward through internal channels rather than allowing as much pressure to build and flow back into the action. The result is lower system backpressure, which can reduce gas blowback, carbon fouling, and the increase in bolt carrier velocity that often comes with traditional suppressor designs.

That lower backpressure can produce a smoother operating cycle, reduce unnecessary stress on moving components, and potentially lessen wear over time. It also helps the rifle maintain more of its unsuppressed operating characteristics, often reducing the need for adjustable gas blocks, heavier buffers, or other tuning changes when running suppressed.

Plan B-Compatible Ecosystem

The Plan B mounting system uses a compact tapered interface between the suppressor adapter and muzzle device, giving you a secure, repeatable lockup without the added size and complexity of many traditional QD systems.

Its biggest advantages are lower weight, shorter overall length, and broad cross-platform compatibility. By using the same Plan B-compatible muzzle devices across multiple rifles, you can move a single suppressor between different hosts without changing the core mounting setup. The taper also helps with alignment, repeatability, and resistance to carbon lock, while the large ecosystem of compatible HUB adapters and muzzle devices gives you plenty of flexibility.
