What is the GEISSELE AUTOMATICS LLC - 15" 5.56mm Suppressor Alignment Rod?

The Geissele Suppressor Alignment rod is a precision gauge used to verify the alignment of a suppressor to the bore of a firearm barrel. Note: Suppressor alignment is determined by several factors:

  1. Centerline alignment (offset and angular) of the barrel threads to the bore.
  2. Perpendicularity of the barrel shoulder to the threads.
  3. Alignment of the muzzle device’s internal diameter threads and torque shoulder to the suppressor attachment geometry.
  4. Alignment of the suppressor mounting ID geometry to the bore of the suppressor.

If you have a can, this is a sound INVESTMENT for peace of mind. If you have a suppressor that you waited months to get, the first round out of your rifle should hopefully not be a baffle strike. Make sure you check out Mike Pappas video from Dead Air how to use this valuable tool.

This alignment rod worked great for checking the concentricity of my suppressor attached to my firearm. No baffle strikes so it was right. I laid the firearm on each side and checked just to be sure.
