What is the MOSSBERG - 590S Optic Ready 12 Gauge 20" 8 Round Black?
Mossberg 590S models set a new standard for shotshell cycling flexibilty. Now, Mossberg has added the added benefit of optic-ready convenience. Receiver cuts allow 590S shotguns to accept low-profile direct mounting of Shield RMSc-pattern micro dot sights, for improved eyealignment and target acquisition. A coverplate is included when a sight is not mounted.

590S. The Ultimate in Shooting Flexibility:
  • 590S shotguns cycle 1.75," 2.75," or 3" shells right out-of-the-box— no adaptor required. Pick one shotshell length for specific shooting needs, or simultaneously load any combination of those shell lengths. The choice is yours with the 590S.
3 New 590S Components:
  • A redesigned Elevator and Bolt Slide, plus the addition of an energy-absorbing Bumper, make 590S shotguns capable of cycling a range of 12GA shells interchangeably—no additional adaptor required.
