WOW!!! my go to EDC in all-weather! it is so light and easy to carry even in My shorts in the summer. I used to carry a Rock Island 3.5 officers 1911. like the name say it felt like a ROCK!!! but this colt with aluminum frame makes a BIG difference, sometimes I have to check to make Shur it still there! as fare as shotting the first 200 was mixed FMJ HP and from 185 grn to 230 grn ,she took them all with not one I say again NOT ONE stove pipe. the next range session was 500 rounds of mixed reloads 185 grn HP and 230 grn ball ammo. the last 100 round was my carry ammo Barnes Vortex 185 grn TAC-XP was it ran perfected. not one stove pipe!!! she is in service as my EDC!!! I'm always looking for a better 1911 to carry, they are other out there for 1000+ dollars! but do want to pay that much? I don't!!!
