Reviews Summary
The WRANGLER 22 Long Rifle Revolver garners mixed reviews. Many praise its aesthetics, low cost, and ease of loading, while recurring issues with accuracy and operational stiffness deter satisfaction. These underlying concerns may make it less suitable for beginners, leading users to consider alternatives despite its charm and potential improvement with upgrades.
What Reviewers Are Saying
Accuracy
70%
A significant number of reviewers express frustration with the Wrangler's lack of accuracy, reporting inconsistent grouping patterns at various distances. These concerns particularly affect users who intend to use the revolver for practice and developing shooting skills, which diminishes the overall satisfaction of the product.
Operational Issues
65%
Several customers encounter difficulties with the action and loading gate, which are often described as stiff and challenging. These mechanical problems can detract from the enjoyment of using the revolver and lead to disappointment, especially for novice shooters who may struggle with loading or operating the firearm.
Value for Money
60%
Despite the operational issues, many users agree that the Wrangler offers good value for its price. The low cost and availability make it an attractive option for entry-level shooters or those seeking a revolver for casual plinking. However, satisfaction can vary based on the individual experience with product quality.
Build Quality
40%
Feedback on the build quality of the Wrangler is mixed. While some appreciate the solid feel and natural pointing, others criticize the use of cast aluminum in its construction. This brings concerns about durability and long-term performance compared to steel-frame options.

Wrangler 22 LR4.62
I have not had chance to shoot the gun. Because of the snow.
5
Best gun purchase in years.
Feels solid in the hand and points naturally. Put 600 rounds through on the first outing it got real dirty...almost gritty. Took it home scrubbed and lubed and good as new. Have a spring pack on order to smooth trigger and hammer pulls but factory is around 4#. I would recommend as a entry level plinker with upgrade potential and a lower cost of operation due to simplicity.

they last forever!!!
I have owned a Ruger in 22LR for years now and i believe its still an awesome firearm!! Still shoots like a brand new gun!!!I would buy a Ruger like this before any other brand for sure! I took my wife shooting for the 1st time after almost 20yrs of marriage and it was the gun i gave her for her 1st shoot and she loved it! Had little kick and still after many years quite accurate!!! If i can talk my wife into it im getting one of these lol Love cowboy guns! hehe

Great Value
This is a great inexpensive Revolver for plinking. A good feature is that when you open the loading gate the cylinder freewheels which makes loading and unloading much easier then other brands that require the hammer to be halfcocked. The 4 1/2 inch barrel gives a balanced feel. This is better than a 4 star rating but is less than a 5 star because the frame is cast aluminum and not steel. Since this uses 22LR only the frame material is not an issue and I expect to get many years of service

Maybe just unlucky.
For the price it is a good value if you get a good one. I can barely get my loading gate open. It is so hard to get open it literally hurts my thumb and the hammer strenght is the times that of the Ruger Single Six. I had expected it to be a little lower quality for $200, but i never expected it be a fight to load. I was thinking maybe I'm just unlucky but I have read other had the same issues I did. The accuracy is half that of a heritage. 18 rounds and it was allover the target. My single a six will cut holes. I called ruger and I have to send it back but there is a 6-8 week minimum wait time and that's if the postal service doesn't lose it or it get stolen. So it is just in a drawer in the box collecting dust.
