I love being able to find the safety without looking at down at the gun. This piece makes locating and activating the safety much more intuitive and natural. Put this in a duty 11-87 with a Mesa Tactical Urbino. It is HUGE. Very easy to deactivate with the side of my index finger, but even in the "safety off" position, it still sticks out past the pistol grip. My last shotgun class was almost 1400 rounds in 2 days. This would have destroyed my finger. For a "I need it right now" only a magazine or two, it's livable. For heavy range practice or competition use, I would keep looking.
