Reviews Summary
The RRA National Match 2-Stage Trigger receives mixed reviews; many praise its smooth pull and reliability at an affordable price, likening it to much more expensive options. What Reviewers Are Saying
Product Quality
70%
Reviewers generally appreciate the quality of the RRA National Match 2-Stage Trigger, noting it offers a smoother, crisper pull compared to standard triggers. Many users find it a great value for the price, enhancing their shooting experience without breaking the bank. However, a segment reported concerns about consistency and QC.
Installation Experience
55%
While many reviewers found the installation process straightforward, others reported significant fitting issues. Problems with oversized pins or binding during installation led some to require additional modifications, which influenced their overall satisfaction with the product.
Trigger Pull Weight & Performance
65%
The trigger pull weight was a point of contention; several users experienced discrepancies between advertised weights and actual pull weights. While many enjoyed the crispness of the pull, others expressed disappointment over heavier pull weights that did not align with expectations for a match trigger.
Value for Money
75%
Most reviewers found the RRA National Match Trigger to be an excellent value, especially for those looking to upgrade from factory triggers without investing in high-end options. However, some noted that while it improves performance, it still lacks the finesse of pricier competitors.
Durability and Reliability
50%
Many users reported the trigger performed reliably over thousands of rounds, making it a solid choice for general use, competitive shooting, and personal defense. However, some negative reviews pointed out concerns about wear and trigger failures, suggesting variability in longevity.

Great - great trigger!
Make no mistake, this is a great trigger - it's better than the Schmid / Aero two stage, not quite as good as the LaRue MBT2-S and definitely not a Geissele. I have all of them and honestly for the money, and to simplify my armory and builds, i'd just take the RRA National Match. It has absolutely no creep, breaks nearly as crisp as a Geissele and is a very safe trigger. It's really though to beat for the money.

Good to go
I figured I would try this on the positive reviews I saw on here and am glad I did. I also has a G brand one as well and this is just as good honestly. Well see how it last compared to it but I can say as of now very pleased, side by side it is identical

Good affordable trigger
I have three of these installed in my ARs, one Rock River and two S&W MP15s. Over the past 13 years of use I have no complaints about this trigger whatsoever. It has worked with 5.56, 6.5 grendel, 458 socom and 300 blackout without fail. $90 is a great price for this kind of quality. To those that complain about it having the wrong weight, remember that this is a two piece trigger so the pull weight and functionality is somewhat dependent on the dimensions of your rifle and the location of its pin holes. If you need to pay a gunsmith to install this trigger then you dont belong in a CMP match!

The way it should be.
Great trigger if you want take up more like an M14. Trigger surfaces need to be stoned or polished, but breaks clean at 4.5 lbs like its supposed to. This trigger is for guys who shoot in real service rifle matches and are capable of working on there own rifles, that's why there cheap. Premaddonas that want a 1.5lbs trigger for their safe queen should not buy this trigger. If you like M1 triggers, you'll like this one.

Excellent trigger
Easy to install. The take up is a bit long but not too bad. There is enough resistance at the break to know that one is making the shot but not enough to interfere with the shot. This most recent purchase is in a 6.5 Gendel that I use on deer and pigs. I like it.
