Magpul X22 Hunter for Ruger 10/22
"Plug and play" - quick, easy installation of the 10/22 action & barrel into the Magpul X22 Hunter stock. The stock is well-designed and very robust and includes two length of pull spacers. The M-lock fore end gives you a lot of options over the OEM stock in terms of mounting points for a light, bipod, QD sling mount, etc. I'd give this item 6 stars if Magpul also included at least one QD socket for the rear stock portion and a couple of cheek risers...but you have to buy these extra. You can use the rear sling slot built into the stock, but you'll still have to buy an M-Lock sling mounting point for the fore-end. I've purchased two of these - one standard 10/22 and one takedown...the latter mates the action group and the barrel/chamber fore part perfectly . These stocks are a little pricey, but well worth it. Quick shipping by Brownells, too. I highly recommend the Magpul X22 Hunter Ruger 10/22 stocks as a big step-up from the OEM stocks, both standard and takedown.
