I own a few of these. Christensen Arms make a great product. It's nothing bad with the company or the chassis. I did run into some fitment issues trying to install an Aero Precision Solus action. That's what you get sometimes when you're trying to mix different manufacturers parts together. Two issues with this particular combination. 1. The bolt release hits the chassis and will have to be machined for the action to drop in. 2. The ejection port area will also have to be machined to allow full use of the larger ejection port on the Solus action. Otherwise a great product. Just be aware of potential fitment issues with this, and possibly other combinations that have a bolt release on the side.

The chassis fit my Remington 700 5R with minor issues. The Timney trigger 517-16 was extremely tight although it didn’t require any fitting for it to work. Second is the AICS magazines don’t always lock into position unless you wiggle it around until the magazine release snaps into position. Last and most importantly, your scope base may not work if the front protrudes past the front of the receiver. In my case my Badger Ordnance 306–06 required milling of the underside of the scope base to clear the hand guard. Even with these issues, I like the adjustability and feel of the stock. Upgrading the magpul pistol grip to the tuxedo grip from Anarchy Outdoors is another option to make the stock that much better. The folding portion of the stock is easy to function and locks tight and rattle free.
