What is the MARBLE ARMS - Rifle Dovetail Front Ramp .6875" ID .095" Black?

Solid steel ramps for custom fitting fiber optic, ivory and brass bead sight blades. Available in two heights and four barrel contours to fit a wide selection of current and older production rifles. Ramp attaches to barrel with a single screw under the sight body and solder; flat base is drilled for two mounting screws.


SPECS: Steel, blue, polished finish. .340" (8.6mm) wide. 2" (5cm) long. Height is measured from the top of barrel to the bottom of the dovetail.

Used on Encore 375 H&H Mag.barrel
Mounted this ramp on Encore 375 H&H Mag. barrel as this caliber Encore barrel is not available with iron sights. Did fit radius a little closer to .805 dia. barrel size before mounting to reduce stress on ramp from screw. Also use sight vise to install sight as dovetail fit is snug. Or stone bottom of dovetail for a nice brass hammer fit(take your time stoning and check fit often). I'm very happy with final results.

not up to par
while fairly made do not expect the screw to hold it on . be sure to solder it on with hi force44. i gues you get what you pay for . not as good as the sight insert that fits it.
