Nice, but needed fitting on my Scorpion
No doubt the factory safety levers are terrible on the Scorpion. These low profile safety levers were part of my first round of mods to my Scorpion. What should have been a 5 minute project expanded to over an hour because the Apex levers would not fully seat on the factory safety bar. I had to sand the ID of the Apex levers to open them up a bit. I used some 220 grit sandpaper wrapped around a 1/4" drill bit. I did sneak up on it so the levers fit snug, so that may have taken more time than necessary. After install, I immediately installed a new grip (also by Apex from Brownells), so I don't have a comparison of how they feel with the stock grip. Overall, they are better than stock, but not sure it was truly worth the money and time.
