MARLIN LEVER ACTION QUICK TAKEDOWN SCREW


Oversized, steel takedown screw allows easy lever removal for a thorough cleaning, plus makes quick work when swapping standard levers for large loop levers for cowboy action shooting. Large diameter, knurled head provides a non-slip grasp during installation and removal. Replaces the original, factory lever screw without alteration.

Handy Marlin accessory
Fitted to a 336 444Marlin to replace the standard lever pivot screw. Much more convenient to remove lever and bolt for cleaning from breech end or rifle maintenance. Low profile dosen't snag or come loose. I have another on a Marlin 336 30-30 and it works just as well. An excellent and cheap up-grade.

Product seems to be well made but for my 2009 Marlin 336 in 35 rem it's too big. Not about to froce it and strip my action.So into the parts box it goes.

Ok but room for improvement
Purchased for Smith 1854. It fit fine. Easy to screw out by hand. However after it screwed in it sticks out enough to be noticeable and could snag on something.
