Troubling quality control right out of the box...
Upon receiving the lower, everything appeared functional, and well put together. However, once I got it on the table and tried inserting a mag, the mag simply wouldnt click into place. It was heavily interfering with the ejector... When looking more into the problem, I noticed the two allen set screws retaining it were set into their threads at different heights, and they had completely missed and deformed the hole for indexing the ejector. After removing them and 2 minutes with a dremel the ejector was perfect and the mags sat perfectly, but im annoyed that I had to do any work to a $250 complete lower to even put a mag in the rifle... It wouldnt be that big a deal had I bought a super-budget brand that is known for QC issues, but it is annoying, ironic, and surprising from Aero. Aero touts their history in aerospace and tight tolerance manufacturing, but I had to remove and replace two simple screws and hack my ejector up with a dremel to make it work.
