Looks good, works well.
I was a little worried buying one after reading the first negative review below. I took a chance and bought it knowing Brownells solid reputation and the part being a Wilson Combat. Finish is great, no scuffs or dings. The latch worked well. Looks like they were cerakoted as oils seem to bead off. I like two identical uppers of different calibers so having them labeled makes life easier in identifying them apart. It would be nice if they came out with other cool etchings.

does what its supposed to
Mine was fine and installed/worked without issue. I like being able to have my 300BLK upper easily marked without engraving. I had a similar issue with a Delton port cover that eventually wore in but the below QC issue is not what I would expect from Wilson (and while Brownells will take it back I say it is an inexcusable hassle).

Lettering is weak
Quality of item is top notch with one exception: The lettering is barely visible. Too bad. With one cleaning with a little CLP the lettering will probably just vanish. The one real reason to buy this item is faulty.

not vivid, gritty retainer
the lettering is kind of hard to see unless you really look at it, I have a picture I was going to upload but even at max resolution it won't show. In some situations this may appeal to you. I'm a recreational shooter however and wanted this because my lower is marked multi. Its also gritty and tough to pop open, I hope that doesn't effect operation. I suspect it will loosen up a little after oiling and using. We'll see.

LABEL TOO SMALL
I bought this product to prevent using the wrong ammo. i.e. putting a 5.56 into a 300 Blk The lettering is so small you can't see it easily and quickly, probably won't even bother to install.
