Want to reload your AR-15 faster than ever? Want to clear your malfunctions quickly and easily? Want to streamline your movements? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then you need to equip your AR-15 with the Phase 5 EBR V3 Extended Bolt Release. The innovative Phase 5 EBR V3 Extended Bolt Release add-on for all standard AR-15s provides an extended lever that reaches into the trigger guard on the right-hand side of the gun. Simply replace the bolt catch on your mil-spec AR-15 lower receiver and add this option from Phase 5, which provides a tab for single-finger operation.

  • Made from 8620 carbon steel
  • Heat-treated to military specifications
  • Weight: 0.7 ounce
  • Manganese-phosphate finish

Each Phase 5 EBR V3 Extended Bolt Release ships with a single 3/32-inch roll pin needed for installation.

One on every rifle.
It makes manipulation of the bolt lock and release seemless. Some people think they clutter the trigger area. I have found that while that is somewhat true, the benefits outweigh that issue. I have never accidentally released the bolt, but i imagine it to be possible. Clearing a malfunction or double feed becomes child's play.
