I guess I misspoke in my prior review. I said "When I asked Foredom about I was told the barrels are mass produced and they didn't have time to bevel that sharp edge." I should have said when I asked NORDIC... Apparently, I also forgot to attach the picture.

I bought a dedicated .22LR upper from Nordic a few years ago and installed it on an 80% lower I put together from spare AR parts. It’s now one of my favorite rifles, but it was not when I first got it. It constantly mis-fed, shaving lead when chambering the little rimfire rounds (see pix). The chamber, where it meets the feed ramp, was very sharp. I ended up using my Foredom tool and some Cratex bits to slightly bevel where the chamber meets the ramp. That cured it 100% and zero problems since. When I asked Foredom about I was told the barrels are mass produced and they didn’t have time to bevel that sharp edge. It took me about fifteen minutes to do it and if I could have done it before the barrel was attached to the upper it could have been done in about 30 seconds. FYI, Black Dog mags work great.

The upper is great but be aware this is an old version and only has m-lock on the bottom. Brownells doesn’t say that in the description. If you want a current production run order from midway.
