Functions as intended
This forward assist functioned flawlessly in my Palmetto State upper. I used the forward assist 6 times with 500 rounds of Remington Golden Bullet ammo. This handy device keeps the fun and freedom flying awhile longer between cleanings. Made of incredibly durable glass fiber reinforced nylon.

Well made, but useless
2 stars for recognizing the potential and practical issue of out of battery detonation with CMMG bolt. Not more because this adapter is useless for its intended purpose. At what moment would you most likely experience a problem chambering a .22LR round? On the last 1/16th of an inch before the bolt closes, because the chamber got some residue from shooting in it. And that is exactly the position where forward assist can't engage notches on this adapter. It is exactly one notch short of being useful.
