Works with B&T SMG-9-M Suppressor
I bought this Midwest Industries handguard because the similar Dakota Tactical handguard I had been using did not work with my new B&T SMG-9-M suppressor. The Midwest Industries handguard does not extend forward of the front sight base, so it does not interfere with the B&T suppressor. The MI handguard fits perfectly on my Zenith Z-5RS and comes with everything you need to install it too. I would buy it again.

Easy to Install, Changes Handling of MP5
This is a very easy rail to install. I purchased it to replace a Knight's Armament RAS (which I loved, but which was a little clunky). Installation is drop-in like most MP5 handguards, and no fitting was required on my POF MP5. Aside from the inherent modularity of MLOK, the rail is slim enough to change the handling of the MP5. I now can c-clamp grip the front of the MP5 behind the charging handle, which helps drive the MP5. As a side bonus, I now run a TLR VIR II at the 1:30 position which is perfect for finger activation while providing a lightweight IR/VIS combo. This is by far and away my favorite MP5 handguard on the market right now.

HK Mp5 .22lr Rifle
Alright guys and girls I took a risk on this one for the 22lr clone made by Umarex. This handguard is NOT designed for this rifle HOWEVER with a little ingenuity it CAN WORK. Is it perfect!? NOPE. But it looks great and still works. I had to chop about 1 inch off of the forward facing portion of this handguard. This allowed it to seat with the front sight cap on. I then fastened it with a bolt. Its not going anywhere BUT its not meant to be installed this way. In the end no one will know and it gave me the end result I was shooting for. I recommend to those who dont care for ultimate perfection. If so, pass on this for now u til they design a perfect fit solution. Hope this helps my .22 plinker friends! Cheers.
